Short Breaks

At Community Links we offer a Short Breaks service in our  self-contained centre in Spondon. Our service is session based, currently on Saturdays between 10am and 2pm. Our friendly staff are all trained and experienced in supporting and safeguarding individuals with additional needs. 

Our fun-filled sessions are tailored towards the individual needs, preferences and interests of the child, encouraging the development of confidence, skills and social interaction in a nurturing, small group environment. 

Our activities in the centre include indoor and outdoor games, sensory experiences, art and craft activities, simple cooking activities, music and computers . We enjoy trips out to parks, farms and indoor play centres, visits to shops, and activities at our allotment, a short walk away.
